can we just talk about the details in this moment alone
like when her eyes are open her eyebrows are furrowed in anger and defiance and she’s ready to fight back to protect her bending
but then she closes her eyes and her eyebrows relax into almost an expression of defeat as if to say “you’ve won, amon”
she is a woman who has lost everything throughout her life
her mother, her lover, her job, now her bending
but she still protects what she cares about and fights for what she believes in
this is why i think lin beifong is one of - if not, THE - strongest character in lok

Has it not occured to Tenzin he might need his glider? It’s a giant dome-shaped arena, he’s not gon “save” Korra walking down those stairs!
I know, right?! What if something happened and he needed to get to an injured Korra in the middle of the ring? Bad planning Tenzin! Bad planning!
I guess he knew it would turn out okay because Lin would be there and Lin gets shit done.
